A 14-year-old sustained non-life threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle on the Stellarton Trafalgar Road near Dr. W.A. MacLeod Consolidated School on Monday.

Police responded to the pedestrian collision at approximately 2:30 p.m. The 14-year-old was taken to hospital with what were believed to be non-life threatening injuries. Police remained on scene investigating the collision for much of the afternoon and were assisted by a traffic reconstructionist. The road was temporarily shut down.
