PICTOU – County council’s sidewalk work is moving ahead.
Council approved a bid from CF Construction for $438,251 to construct three sidewalks in the county. The sidewalks will be on MacGregor Avenue, near the Pictou County Wellness Centre, as well as Alma, near Northumberland Regional High School, and Riverton, near the Riverview Home.
It is expected to take eight weeks to complete the sidewalks in Riverton and MacGregor Avenue and 12 weeks in Alma.
