Halifax police investigating stabbing and attempted robbery

Two suspects are being sought by police after an 18-year-old man was stabbed in Dartmouth Wednesday morning.  

At 11:11 a.m. police responded to a call about a man who had been stabbed on Jackson Road. An 18-year-old man suffering from a stab wound to his arm told police he had been walking in the area when two males he didn’t recognize approached and tried to rob him. After he told them he didn’t have anything he was slashed. The suspects ran from the area towards Victoria Road. The victim was taken to hospital and treated

Patrol members contained the area and a K9 unit was brought in but the suspects were not located. The first suspect is described as a white male, 5’6”, 16- to 20-years-old with a thin build. He was wearing black clothing, black sneakers and had his face covered. The second suspect is described as a light complected black male, 6 ft., 16- to 20-years-old with a thin build. He was wearing black clothing, white sneakers and had his face covered.
