Members of the 219 New Glasgow Legion Army Cadet Corps are part of a larger group of Atlantic Canadian Cadets who are engaged in a true adventure, on Prince Edward Island.
The 219 cadet corps, and others from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland are engaged in a nine-day bicycle that will take them across the Island.
The participating senior cadets, in addition to testing themselves physically, will be learning the ropes in an assortment of activities and skills that include map and compass reading; canoeing; general leadership and Canadian history.
Each day, so far, has provided the cadets on the Nova Scotian team new challenges and adventures on the Island.
