PICTOU – A 61-year-old Pictou County man convicted break and enter will return to provincial court next week to be sentenced.

The sentencing of Donald J. MacDonald was scheduled for Monday but a busy docket forced it to be adjourned until April 30.

MacDonald was charged with break and enter into an apartment, failing a breathalyzer and two counts of breach of a recognizance in relation to an incident on Jan. 11, 2017, in New Glasgow.

The provincial court judge has reserved his decision in the sentencing to consider recommendations put forth by the Crown and defence.
