Irving Douglas Macdonald

Irving Douglas, 75, of Anaheim, California, formally of Thorburn, passed away quietly at home on July 14, 2018. He was the son of the late Ross and Elizabeth (Bessie Campbell) MacDonald. While attending East Pictou Rural High, he was a player with the team that won Provincial Championship. He is survived by his wife Sherry (Griswell), daughter Kelly (Mike) Moritz, grandchildren Meghan and Josh, stepsons David and John, brothers Lionel (Marilyn) Greenhill, Ross (Gail) Martin’s Point; Brian (Margie) Westville. Sisters – Iris (Francis) Guptill, Sussex, N.B. Lydia MacCulloch, New Glasgow, Evelyn MacLaren, Linacy, Bette Anne (Gordon) Langille, New Glasgow, Leona Stewart, Westville, Marion Montgomery, Glen Haven and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sister Willena (Angus) Darroch, Thorburn. Memorial Services will be held at a later date in California.
