James Gerard “Jerry” Wadden, age 64, of Westville, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at his home.  Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Jim and Betty (Carroll) Wadden.  Jerry attended Westville schools and was baptized and confirmed at
James Gerard “Jerry” Wadden, age 64, of Westville, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at his home. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Jim and Betty (Carroll) Wadden. Jerry attended Westville schools and was baptized and confirmed at Holy Name Church. He was known to his friends as “Puddin” , in his younger years he worked for the Dept. of Mines and later worked as a painter . He enjoyed skating, playing hockey and liked his fast cars (Mustang and Swinger). His greatest joy was spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jerry is survived by his sons Jason (Heather), MacLellan’s Brook; Robbie (Melissa), Halifax; and Colin (Nikki), Florida; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters Linda Crosby, Westville, Mary, Stellarton, Karen Bears (Ron), Halifax, Cathy MacIntosh (Gordon), Westville; brother Joe, Westville; and brother-in-law Gary Crosby (Theresa), Mark Road. He was predeceased by sister Lorraine Crosby and brother Terry. His family will receive visitors on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. There will be no funeral service by request. Donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one’s choice. www.eaglesfuneralhome.ca
