Richard Allan Pineau

TRURO – Richard Allan Pineau, 59, Truro, formerly of New Glasgow, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2018 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro with his son by his side. Born in Pictou, he was a son of the late Peter and Bennie (Profit) Pineau. Richard worked as a construction worker for the majority of his life and enjoyed the company of his two feline babies, Furby and Willow. A loving father, son, brother and friend who will be missed by all who loved him. Surviving are son Cole (Virginia), Truro; sisters, Roxanne (Brian) Johnston, Lyons Brook; Nicole (Dave) Walsh, Frasers Mountain; Stacey Pineau, New Glasgow; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Mary Pineau and Michelle Clark; brother, Jimmy. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday September 16, 2018 in Seaview Cemetery, Pictou with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating.
