In contrast, Justin Trudeau failed our veterans when he told our brave heroes that they are asking more than Canada can give.
However, according to new media reports, the prime minister has apparently found $40 million for his lawyers to fight those same veterans in court.
This once again confirms that the Trudeau government cannot be trusted to address the issues affecting veterans, nor do they intend to honour the promises they made to veterans during the 2015 election campaign.
Justin Trudeau promised that veterans would never be forced to fight their own government for the support and compensation that they have earned.
He has broken that promise and Conservatives will continue to hold him accountable for his failure to live up to his commitment.
