In the rescheduled championship game the Stingers defeated the Cole Harbour Comets 4-2 to take the title.

Players of the game were awarded to Hailey Earle and Emily Hayes. Janelle Young was named tournament MVP.

The team is now heading to the Atlantic championship being held in P.E.I. from Sept. 13-15.
