The Stellarton Stingers U12 House League championship game was held recently at Dorrington field, where team Orange played team Blue.

The Orange team went undefeated throughout the playoffs and won their title in a hard-fought game with a final score of 7-6. Jayden Tugwell put in a strong performance for team Blue and was named player of the game.

Player of the game for team Orange was Rylan Biron, who was strong defensively, delivered a home run and shared pitching for the win with Nicole Acheson, who pitched a great game.

Coach Nicole Quinn said all the games in the playoffs were close and "the final game for the champions was truly a team effort with each child playing their personal best. They worked hard all season and had a lot of fun."

Quinn and Blue coach Stephen Alexander were very proud of all the girls and their development throughout the season.
