AA Selects end weekend with solid win

NEW GLASGOW – The Pictou County Atom AA Selects ended this weekend with a huge win over Metro West Force White.

Having lost two home games to Metro East Inferno on Saturday, the Selects were primed for a victory and took an early lead in the first, with a quick goal from Ada White, assisted by Hailey Taylor and Mya MacDonald.

Follow-up goals were gained by Reese Murray, with an assist by Alexis Buchanan, and Karlee Rose, assisted by Brooke Greene and Sidney Keay.

The final goal in the 4-1 victory was scored by Avery Henderson, with an assist by Murray.

Kenli Ross had the win in nets.
