Saturday night in Thorburn, the Crushers hosted the Bulldogs.
Though the team played hard, they fell to the Bulldogs in a 4-0 loss.
Sunday in Antigonish, the Crushers came out to win and defeated the Bulldogs 7-2. The Crushers capitalized on turnovers, battles at the boards and an excellent team effort both offensively and defensively.
Goaltenders Noah MacDonald and John Mason split the duties and stood tall in nets making some outstanding saves. Goals came from Ethan Barker, Cameron Pitts and Jack MacNeil with one each and Caden Hawes and Josh McDonald with a pair each.
Assists came from Caden Hawes, Chris Jorden, Jack MacNeil, Josh McDonald, Kaleb MacEachern, Cole A. Miller, Lucas MacDonald, Marshall Brown, Cale Cameron and Carson Moore.
The Crushers will travel to Halifax to take on the Dartmouth Whalers at the Scotiabank Centre on Nov. 12 in exhibition action.
