WESTVILLE ROAD – The Junior A Crushers lost 6-4 to the Edmundston Blizzard on Saturday night.

The Blizzard, who improved their league-best record to 23-4-3, scored three goals in the third period to erase a 4-3 Crushers lead in the third period at the Pictou County Wellness Centre (PCWC).

Maxime Grandmaison had two goals to pace Edmundston, and Logan Johnston had a goal and three helpers.

For Pictou County, Michael Dill scored once and set up two others, Riley Cameron assisted three times and single goals came from Marc Gagnon, Quinten Johnson and Jacob Hickey, who notched his 16th of the season.

The Crushers are in Woodstock on Wednesday to take on the Slammers, then the Amherst Ramblers will visit the PCWC the next night.
