DARTMOUTH - The Pictou County Weeks Major Midgets dropped a 3-0 decision to the Steele Subaru Midgets on Sunday afternoon at the Dartmouth Sportsplex.
The teams were scoreless after the opening period, but the Dartmouth-based Steele scored two goals in the final four minutes of the second period and added some extra insurance in the final frame.
It was the only game of the weekend for Pictou County (8-12-3), who play in Dartmouth again next Saturday before hosting Steele Subaru on Sunday at noon, a game that will be played at the Pictou County Wellness Centre.
