TRENTON - The Pictou County Scotians headed into a Sunday night game with the Valley Maple Leafs on a high note, after routing the Cole Harbour Colts 9-1 on Friday.

The Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League club received five point-nights from Blair Dewtie (2G, 3A) and Jacob Pentz (1G, 4A) in the win over the Colts. Jeremy McFarlane sniped a pair for the Scotians (10-3-4), while Will Kelly, Ethan Snell, Ian Keating and Robert Burrows recorded single tallies.

Jeffrey Withers had a hat trick for the Colts, who with a 14-3-2 mark lead the NSJH’s Fred Fox Division.
