Weeks Major Midgets win one, lose one in pair of close games

MOUNT WILLIAM - The Pictou County Weeks Major Midgets were edged out by the Cole Harbour Pro Hockey Life Wolfpack in Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League play on Sunday.

Cole Harbour beat the Pictou County team in overtime 4-3 at home. Jaden Mason, G Blackmore and Bryce Reynolds picked up the goals for Pictou County with assists from Kevin Mason, Rowan Sears, Jaden Mason and Blackmore.

On Saturday, Weeks beat the Halifax McDonald’s 4-3 in overtime.

Gavin Hart scored the goal in the extra period. Jaden Mason had two goals and Kevin Mason also connected for Weeks.
