WESTVILLE ROAD – The Pictou County Wear Well Bombers split a pair of games on the weekend.

On Saturday, in a Nova Scotia Major Bantam Hockey League game played in Halifax, the Bombers lost 4-2 to the ACCEL Hawks, with Matt Carson and Ryan Green scoring for Pictou County.

The next day saw the Bombers defeat the Bedford Barons 4-1. Matt Carson potted a hat trick for the Bombers, and Landen MacDonald also scored a goal. David Matthews had three assists and Tyler Matchem made 31 saves in the Pictou County net.
