MOUNT WILLIAM – Female novice-aged girls in Pictou, Antigonish, Colchester and Cumberland counties are invited to take part in an all-female hockey jamboree Sept. 9 at the Pictou County Wellness Centre.
It will be from 10:30 a.m. until 2 p.m., with a lunch break in between the two sessions. The jamboree will focus on development and cross-ice hockey.
Participants must register online at www.hockeynovascotia.ca. The cost to register is $10 and spots are limited. Registration will close Sept. 1.
