On Saturday they defeated Scarborough 7-0 to clinch first place and a bye to the semifinals. Sunday had rain and forced play to be stopped until 3:30 p.m., resulting the Mariners’ semf9nal game to be pushed to Monday morning, where they defeated the Yarmouth Gateways 4-1. In the final, they defeated the Woodslee (Ontario) Orioles 9-0 to capture the title.
