Peewee AA Crushers go 4-0-1 in recent exhibition games

THORBURN – On Feb. 24 the Peewee AA Crushers took on the Halifax Hawks and played to a 3-3 draw in Thorburn.

Scoring for the Crushers were John K Martin, Brennan Hood and Landon Steele all with singles. Assists went to Cole Thompson with 3, Levon Walst with a pair and Wyatt Spence with a single helper.

The next day, the Crushers where back in action in Thorburn playing the Truro Bearcats, winning 3-0. Scoring for the Crushers were Ben Marchand, Martin and Hood with assists coming from Colby Nichol with 2, Thompson, Walst, Steele and Spence with one helper apiece.

Cole Battist recorded the shutout.

On March 3, the Peewee AA Crushers took on the Truro Bearcats in Truro, winning 5-2 at Colchester Legion Stadium. Scoring for the Crushers were John K Martin with a pair of goals, Mac Wallace, Walst and Zachary MacInnis, while assists went to Clint MacLaughlin, Caden Campbell, Nichol, Thompson and Spence all with singles.

This past Sunday in Antigonish, the Crushers played two games, winning the first contest 6-1. Scoring for the Crushers was Wallace and MacInnis each with 2, singles coming from MacLaughlin and Martin with assists coming Nichol, Thompson, Wallace.

In the second contest of the day, the Crushers edged the Bulldogs 6-5. Scoring for the winners was Spence with two, Nichol, Hood and MacLaughlin with singles. Assists going to Gage Connors with 2, Kaden Moulasion, Gage Connors, Blake MacLennan, Martin, Thompson, Hood and Steele.
