Peewee AAA Crushers lose close ones to Acadia

WESTVILLE ROAD – The Pictou County Peewee AAA Crushers hosted a pair of tight matches with the league leader, Acadia, on Sunday.

Acadia narrowly came out with both wins with 3-2 and 4-3 decisions in games played at the Pictou County Wellness Centre.

Scoring for the Crushers in the first game were Jayden Duplessis, assisted by Ben Manos and Dominic MacKenzie; and Reese Smith, assisted by MacKenzie.

Goals in the second game went to Cory MacGillivray with help from Duplessis, while Lane Lochead and Ben Wallace each had singles.
