Peewee AAA Crushers win one of three games

MOUNT WILLIAM –

The Peewee AAA Crushers went 1-1 against the Cole Harbour Wings this past weekend in exhibition play, and took their first league loss to the Antigonish Bulldogs.

On Saturday, the Crushers lot 7-4 to the Wings at the Pictou County Wellness Centre. Leading the Crushers offence were Cade Moser and Ben Wallace, each with two goals. Assists went to Lane Lochead, Eastyn Cameron and Keagan Dalton.

Later on Saturday afternoon at the Trenton rink, the Crushers lost 3-1 to the Antigonish Bulldogs.

Kaden Smith had the only goal for the locals, set up by Seth Gallant.

On Sunday, the Crushers travelled to Dartmouth to play the Wings again with revenge on their minds. The Peewee AAAs didnt disappoint, with a dominant 6-2 win at the Gray Arena.

Scoring for the Crushers were Jayden Duplessis with a hat trick, while single goals went to Lochead, Gallant and Wallace. Assists were delivered by Smith, Brendan Avery, Logan Crosby, Dalton and Cory MacGillivary.

The Crushers have another busy weekend ahead, as they travel to Bridgewater for two games on Saturday and host Cape Breton West on Sunday.
