WESTVILLE ROAD – The Tier 1 Peewee Wolves went 1-1 on Tuesday at the Pictou County Wellness Centre, improving their record to 5-1.

In the first game, the Wolves defeated the Bedford Bengals 7-4. Leading the way with two-goal nights for the Wolves were Ethan MacKay and Derrick MacKay, while Kenzie Batherson, Ethan MacLean, and Owen Chabassol all added singles. Assists came from Kaiden Moulaison (4), Derrick MacKay, Ethan MacKay, Chabassol, Jack Hidgon, Batherson and Kaleb Melanson. Ethan MacLaren got the win in goal.

Next, the Acadia Coyotes handed the Wolves their first loss, in a 3-2 nailbiter.

Goals for the Wolves came from Ethan MacKay and Jake Henderson, while drawing assists were Ethan MacLean, Melanson and Hidgon. The Wolves remain first overall in spring league standings.
