TRENTON – The Pictou County Junior Scotians are off to Colchester County for a Thursday game against the Brookfield Elks.

Picotu County (16-5-4) have won three straight and are six points behind the first-place Glace Bay Miners (20-3-2), with each club having nine games left in the regular season.

Pictou County and Brookfield met Jan. 7 in Trenton, with the Scotians managing to collect a 4-3 win against the Elks, who’ve won just two games all season and are mathematically eliminated from playoff contention.
