TRENTON

The Pictou County Scotians dropped their second straight game Sunday, a 4-3 loss to the Liverpool Privateers.

In a game played at Trenton rink, the Privateers held a 2-0 advantage after the first period on goals from Logan MacLellan and Brady Meech. The Scotians responded in the second period, however, as James Murphy scored twice to tie the game, with Ian Keating getting assists on both tallies and Lucas Rushton getting a helper.

A goal by Connor Kirby, and MacLellan with his second of the night, put the Privateers back up by two goals in the second period. Matthew Fougere scored a late goal for the Scotians, who had lost Friday night in Antigonish, a 4-1 game against the Bulldogs.

Colin Holmes scored for Pictou County.
