Dig out that sweater from your closet that’s so bad, it’s good: the Ugly Sweater Run is back.
The YMCA of Pictou County’s annual event will be this coming Saturday, starting at 10 a.m. at the Pictou County Wellness Centre.
The 4K event allows those who take part the chance to run, walk or jingle into the holiday spirit with friends, family, kids and dogs.
Cups of hot chocolate will be provided and awards will be handed out for Best Sweater, Best Pet Attire, Best Family Outfits and Best Large Group Cheer.
The $10 entrance fee will go to the YMCA’s Strong Kids campaign.
Participants can register online at Race Roster or at the YMCA on Saturday at 9:30 a.m.
