MEMBERTOU – The Weeks Major Midges lost two games to the Cape Breton Unionized Tradesmen over the weekend in Membertou.
On Saturday, the Weeks lost 3-2. Hunter Martin and Mason Hawley scored for the Weeks.
On Sunday, the Weeks led after the first period with goals by Carson Lanceleve and Hawley, but could not answer the five goals that Cape Breton fired into their net in the second and third period.
The Weeks play next on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at the Pictou County Wellness Centre when they host the Halifax McDonalds Major Midgets.
