Regional Weather Forecast
The very fall-like fair weather system that’s been serving up bright days and cool nights will soon be replaced by a well-developed area of low pressure approaching from the west. The associated warm front will bring a strong south wind and anywhere from 30 to 50 mm of rain. The trailing cold front will bring partial clearing by the end of the week. I will be watching a subtropical storm named Leslie this week. Leslie is not expected to make landfall but could interact with another area of low pressure and stall the systems just off our coastlines. Stay tuned.
