Regional Weather Forecast
A powerful fall storm that originated in the American mid-west is headed for Labrador. The accompanying warm and then cold fronts will bring rain, rising temperatures and lots of wind. The south wind is expected to gust as high as 90 km/h Saturday morning. As the intense area of low pressure tracks north and east of the province, the wind will shift to the northwest and clearing will follow from west to east Saturday afternoon into the evening. Behind the storm, a fair weather system will slide in from the west, offering a fair start to the new season.
