Canadian Baptist Ministries (CBM) recently announced that Pastor Randy Stanton, First Baptist Church, New Glasgow, has been appointed to the role of Atlantic Canada Representative beginning Sept. 14.

CBM’s Atlantic Canada Representative serves as the key connecting point between CBM and the Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches. Stanton’s primary responsibilities will include strengthening mission engagement and facilitating dialogue on integral mission and its practice though the local church, both in Atlantic neighbourhoods and around the world. CBM has over 40 field staff (missionaries) and over 140 projects in the world at this time.

Pastor Stanton’s role as CBM Atlantic Representative will require considerable travel as he helps churches interact with CBM and the many opportunities CBM offers to help churches and individuals to bring the gospel and aid to people of the world.
