NEW GLASGOW, N.S. — Creative Pictou County is looking for creative people and art supporters to help shape the future of the organization.
The organization is holding a meeting at the New Glasgow library community room for current members and the general public from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to make a plan for the future direction of the organization.
Over the past four years Creative Pictou County has helped plan and complete many activities and projects, including organizing an artisan fair. The group has also assisted artists with grant applications.
“CPC was instrumental with providing me with a family of creative, like-minded colleagues and friends, I would not have met, otherwise,” said multi-disciplined artist Carolyn Bedford. “I can call upon these artist friends to exchange resources, collaborate on new projects and further develop my business skills. The resources among all the creatives I met by stepping out at the socials gave me opportunities and boosted my profile. Being supported on project development gave me a platform to see all our dreams of a be possible. It created a vibe for possibilities.”
