Gospel concert to support Viola’s Place

STELLARTON – A gospel concert will be held Friday in support of Viola’s Place.

The concert, featuring Johnathan Cumminger, Stellarton Male Chorus, Sam Graham, Sarah Carrigan, Brian Bowden and Ray Stewart, will take place at 7 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Stellarton. Desserts and refreshments will follow.

Viola’s Place Society is in the process of purchase the former LifeShelter Church and turning it into a permanent homeless shelter. It needs to raise $60,000 by April in order to purchase the building, which has been vacant since 2016.
