PLEASANT VALLEY, N.S.
A section of the Trans Canada 104 Highway was temporarily closed in the westbound lane near Pleasant Valley in Pictou County on Monday, Sept. 17 as a result of an accident that happened in the early morning hours.
RCMP Cpl. Ron Bryce said a 23-year-old Pictou County man who had been driving a Honda Civic was transported to the Aberdeen Hospital following the single-vehicle accident that happened around 4:10 a.m.
The highway was closed while RCMP analysts investigated the cause of the accident.
Bryce explained that analysts are usually brought in after crashes that involve serious injury.
