NEW GLASGOW, N.S. – AA Munro Insurance has launched its 9th annual Fire Hall Photo Contest open to all fire departments in Nova Scotia, P.E.I. and New Brunswick.
A $5,000 first prize and a $1,000 second prize will be awarded for Nova Scotia. There is a $3,000 first prize and $500 second prize for P.E.I. and New Brunswick. AA Munro will award cash prizes to fire departments which can accumulate the most “likes” on a team photo posted to AA Munro’s Facebook page.
There is also a special Judges’ Choice prize on Instagram. $500 will be awarded to one Atlantic Canadian who posts a fire-related photo on Instagram with the hashtags #FirstInLastOut and #aamunro. For the first time the company is offering a $1,000 random draw prize for any fire hall photo submission with more than 150 likes on their photo.
Photos need to be emailed directly to [email protected]. They will be posted on Facebook within one to three business days of being received. The winner will be the fire hall photo with the most likes on its photo by Nov. 8 at 5 p.m.
