Several raw beef and veal products have been recalled due to possible E coli contamination.

The products, from Ryding-Regency Meat Packers Ltd., have been distributed across Canada. A complete list can be found on the CFIA website .

Food contaminated with E. coli might not look or smell spoiled but can still make people sick. Symptoms can include nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps and diarrhea. In some cases, people have seizures or strokes, need blood transfusions and kidney dialysis or live with permanent kidney damage. Severe can result in death.

The recall was triggered by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency's inspection activities
