Dangerous driving trial in relation to Trenton Connector fatality postponed

The trial for a man accused of dangerous driving causing death has been postponed.

A four-day trial for Foster Leroy Hoar was expected to take place in October, but defence counsel requested the adjournment because it is waiting on the completion of forensic report.

Hoar was charged with dangerous driving causing death in relation following an investigation into a fatal collision on Abercrombie Road near the Trenton Connector on Dec. 7, 2016.

The court will look at setting new trial dates on Nov. 5.
