An old house at the corner of Cameron Ave. and Abecrombie Rd. in New Glasgow has been brought down.
Work crews arrived at 8:00 a.m., Wednesday Nov.7 and made short work of the property which had been vacant for a year.
Property owner Dwayne Harris was unavailable, but his father Wayne cited cost to heat and poor parking for their reason to have the place demolished.
“It looks better for the neighborhood,” said Harris in a brief phone interview.
Cleaning the rubble is expected to take all day.
