Heatherbells Pipes and Drums searching for new members

PICTOU, N.S. — The Heatherbell Pipes & Drums – Pictou County is actively recruiting new band members. 
If you have a child aged seven and up that would be interested in learning to play the bagpipes, side drum or tenor, organizers say this would be a great place to start. 
Youth will receive lessons from accomplished piping and drumming instructors. Practice is Tuesdays from 6 to 7 p.m. at Northumberland Regional High School in Alma, beginning Tuesday, Sept. 10.
