New Glasgow Mayor Nancy Dicks along with Police Chief Eric MacNeil, Const. Ken MacDonald, Const. Graham Purvis and MADD Pictou County Chapter President Joy Polley raise the MADD Pictou County flag at Glasgow Square. From Nov. 1 to Jan. 8, MADD Canada Chapters and Community Leaders will distribute millions of ribbons to Canadians to wear and display as a reminder to never drive impaired or ride with an impaired driver. Red ribbons and car decals are available at Shenanigans Pub and Eatery, Swallows Service Centre, Big Al's Convenience Store & Trophies, Sharpe's Service Station, The LBR, Pictou County Pizza, Mike's Harbour Beach Market, Pictou Landing Ultramar, Wonder Auto and from MADD PC Chapter. Donations to MADD Pictou County can be made through paypal at http://maddchapters.ca/pictoucounty/giving/.
