Aaron Gilbert MacBeth, 48, was handed a total six-year driving probation Tuesday in Pictou provincial court after pleading to multiple charges related to drinking and driving.
Guilty pleas were entered to a charge from July 17, 2016, related to impaired driving as well as a breach of recognizance from Aug. 23 in Westville and failing a breathlyzer on July 15, 2016, in Stellarton and July 31 in Westville.
He received a curative discharge on the breathlyzer and impaired charges as well as 36 months. In addition, he must pay $1,400 in fines and victim surcharges.
