If you’re missing some cash, you might want to call the New Glasgow Regional Police.

Police say that someone contacted the department after finding a large sum of money on the evening of Thursday, Dec. 21 on the westside of New Glasgow and immediately turned it in.

Police are asking for the public`s assistance in locating the person(s) who may have lost the money. Police are asking the public to share this message through social media in trying to locate the owners.

The owner is asked to contact New Glasgow Regional Police at (902) 759-7277.

Constable Ken Macdonald of the New Glasgow Regional Police said “given the time of year, it becomes increasingly important to locate the owner of the large sum of money just in time for Christmas and we need the public’s assistance in spreading the word.”
