A New Glasgow woman who pleaded guilty to public mischief recently will be sentenced at the end of November.
Tanya Dawn MacDonald was charged in January 2018 with mischief after New Glasgow Regional Police investigated an alleged kidnapping and rape.
MacDonald told police on Jan. 21, 2018 she was kidnapped by a man while she was parked at the Aberdeen Business Centre, driven to Blue Mountain and sexually assaulted.
The police investigation didn’t corroborate MacDonald’s statement and she was charged with mischief.
After sentencing recommendations from both sides, Judge Del Atwood said he needed time to make his decision and adjourned the case until Nov. 28.
