Northumberland Ferries Ltd.  cancelled its 2:45 crossing from Caribou, N.S. Friday afternoon due to a mechanical issue with one of its ferries.

NFL said crossings will be back on schedule for today's 4:30 p.m. departure from Wood Islands, P.E.I.
