For the second year in a row Olivia and William were the favourite baby names in Nova Scotia.
As of Dec. 28, from 7,646 registered births, 60 babies were called William and 53 babies were named Olivia.
The most popular names usually remain fairly consistent, but new favourites this year include Lincoln, Alexander, Grayson, Jaxon, Thomas, Hannah, Avery, Zoey and Sadie.
Nova Scotia began formally registering births on Aug. 1, 1864. The most popular names that year were Mary and John.
