NEW GLASGOW – A 39-year-old male is in custody after police seized drugs from a residence on Oak Street in New Glasgow Wednesday.
New Glasgow Regional Police say a quantity of cocaine, cannabis marijuana, cannabis derivatives and ammunition was seized from the residence. Officers arrested the man after executing the search warrant on the residence.
The suspect has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking, possession of cannabis marijuana and derivatives, and failing to comply with conditions of a probation order.
The accused has been released from police custody and will appear in Provincial Court in Pictou at a later date.
The warrant was executed by the Pictou County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit and the NGRP.
