NEW GLASGOW, N.S. — Needless to say, for a party like the Jubilee to be successful preparation is the key.

“It has been very busy for the last couple of days,” said the acting manager of the Glasgow Square Threatre, Paula Irving.

“We need to get a lot of equipment out of the building, so chairs and sound equipment,” said Irving. “We get our stuff out and then get our dressing rooms and the green room all set up for the artists.”

On Aug. 1 Irving says that the festival grounds will be buzzing with people working from the early hours until the evening preparing everything for the weekend.

"We're really excited," said Irving. "It brings so much activity to the town."
