RCMP investigate indecent act in Pictou

The Southeast District RCMP is investigating following an off-road vehicle crash in Memramcook that left one man dead and another injured.

Pictou, N.S. – Pictou RCMP are investigating following a complaint of an indecent act on the Jitney Trail in Pictou.

The indecent act is alleged to have happened at approximately 6:20 a.m. on June 20.

Police immediately attended the location and were advised by the female complainant that she had been walking her dog on the trail and encountered a man. He exposed his genitals to her and asked her if she wanted to go on a date. The complainant said the man appeared to be intoxicated and was described as being a white male, approximately 30-35 years old, approximately 5’8” to 5’10’ in height, with a medium build. He was wearing a light-colored shirt, shorts, had short brush cut style hair and was carrying a skateboard.

The man has not been located and the RCMP is continuing its investigation. Anyone who has information or may have witnessed this incident to call at 902 893 6820 or 1-800-803-RCMP (7267).
