Mark Lever, president and CEO of SaltWire Network, which publishes The News, met with people in Pictou County Thursday evening during an Open Up event held at Glasgow Square. SaltWire has been hosting such get-togethers at its various newspapers to meet with the community and hear people’s ideas for content and what their local newspaper means to them.
