ANTIGONISH, N.S. — Another person has thrown their hat in the ring to run for Central Nova.
On Sept. 6, the Communist Party of Canada announced that Chris Frazer will be the party candidate for Central Nova. Frazer is an associate professor of history at St. Xavier University in Antigonish where he works and lives.
He has also been an adjunct faculty member at the University of Rhode Island, a
lecturer at Harvard University and an organiser for the United Auto Workers Un-ion.
Chris is a human rights activist of many years, especially advocating on behalf of the LGBTQ+ community of which he is proud of. He openly welcomes debates and interviews on any of the Communist Party of Canada’s platform issues.
Also running in Central Nova are Conservative candidate George Canyon, Green candidate Barry Randle, Liberal candidate Sean Fraser, NDP candidate Betsy MacDonald and People’s Party candidate Al Muir.
